New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating relationship patterns, identity shifts, and the habits that quietly undermine their lives. My approach is direct, thoughtful, and grounded in real connection, balancing insight with accountability so sessions feel honest and purposeful. I help clients slow down, notice their patterns, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others, with therapy that stays practical, reflective, and rooted in meaningful change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is a focused, conversational space where we talk about what brought you in, what feels stuck, and what you want to change, without rushing or forcing a neat story. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen closely for patterns, and help you leave with a clearer sense of direction, whether that’s naming goals, understanding your dynamics more clearly, or identifying what we should start working on together right away.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths are my ability to build real rapport quickly, name patterns clearly, and balance warmth with accountability. Clients often tell me they feel both understood and challenged, and that therapy with me helps them connect insight to action so change shows up in their relationships, decisions, and daily life rather than staying theoretical.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m best positioned to work with adults who are self-aware enough to know something isn’t working, but feel stuck changing long-standing patterns in relationships, communication, or self-trust. Many of my clients are navigating identity shifts, chronic people-pleasing, inconsistent boundaries, or cycles of conflict and avoidance, and they want therapy that is honest, structured, and engaging rather than passive. They’re motivated to understand themselves more deeply, open to being challenged, and committed to doing the work between sessions to create steadier, healthier relationships and a more grounded sense of self.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing as a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach that helps clients clarify their own reasons for change, reduce ambivalence, and feel genuinely respected rather than pushed or corrected. In my practice, I rely on reflective listening, strategic open-ended questions, and values-based exploration to support autonomy while still holding clients accountable to the goals they say they want.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how those thoughts drive emotions and behavior, and practice concrete skills to interrupt cycles that keep them stuck. In my practice, I keep CBT practical and grounded by connecting insights to real-life situations and reinforcing consistency, self-awareness, and follow-through outside of sessions.
Relational
I use relational therapy to focus on how early and current relationships shape patterns of attachment, communication, and emotional safety. In my practice, I help clients examine how they show up with others, name relational dynamics as they happen, and practice healthier ways of connecting through honesty, boundaries, and mutual responsibility.
