About me

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in trauma-informed, attachment-focused care for individuals. I support clients who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or impacted by past experiences that still show up in their daily lives. I help people understand how their history shapes their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships, and guide them in building healthier, more secure connections with themselves and others. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply client-centered. I believe therapy should feel safe, respectful, and empowering. I combine emotional insight with practical, evidence-based tools so clients can make real changes in how they regulate emotions, set boundaries, and show up in their lives. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected, not just during sessions, but in your everyday life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you are invited to share at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to change. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences and explain how I work so you feel comfortable and clear about what to expect moving forward. The goal of the first session is for you to feel heard, supported, and safe.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the balance between deep emotional work and practical, real-life tools. I combine attachment-based, trauma-informed care with evidence-based methods like CBT and DBT, helping clients feel both emotionally supported and empowered with concrete skills they can use daily. I focus on creating a safe, consistent therapeutic relationship where clients feel truly seen, understood, and encouraged to grow at a pace that feels respectful and sustainable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who feel stuck in patterns shaped by past trauma, difficult childhood experiences, or insecure attachment. I work well with clients who are motivated to understand themselves on a deeper level, break cycles, and build healthier emotional and relational patterns. I support those navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and a desire to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based therapy to help clients understand how early relationships shaped their emotional world, self-worth, and relationship patterns. In my work with trauma and inner child wounds, I focus on creating a safe, consistent therapeutic relationship where clients can experience emotional attunement and repair. I help clients build awareness of their attachment style, regulate their nervous system, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and focused on long-term healing rather than quick fixes.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and replace them with healthier, more balanced ones. I focus on teaching practical tools clients can use in real life to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and build more supportive inner dialogue. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, helping clients feel empowered rather than judged.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy communication skills. I teach practical tools clients can use in moments of overwhelm, conflict, or emotional shutdown. My approach focuses on helping clients feel more in control of their emotions while developing self-compassion and stronger, more stable relationships.
