I’m a Latinx Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, identity, and the pressure to hold it all together. I offer a space where clients can feel grounded, safe, and fully themselves—whether they’re figuring out who they are, what they need, or how to breathe again. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you reconnect with your voice and values.
In our first session, there’s no pressure to have the “right” words or to explain everything perfectly. I’ll guide us through a conversation where we get to know each other—what’s bringing you in, what you’re carrying, and what you hope to get out of therapy. If it’s your first time in therapy (or if you’re a teen or adolescent), we’ll take extra time to go over what therapy is, how it works, and what it can look like for you. You’re allowed to ask questions, share only what feels comfortable, and take your time. This is your space, and you get to move at your own pace. My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where you can start to feel safe, heard, and maybe even a little lighter.
My greatest strength is creating a space where clients feel seen without needing to over-explain. I lead with warmth, cultural humility, and a deep belief in your right to take up space—just as you are. As a first-generation therapist, I understand what it means to carry a lot quietly. I bring compassion, curiosity, and a steady presence to help you unpack it at your own pace.
You might look like you have it all together—but underneath, you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, overthinking, or just… off. Maybe you’re always showing up for everyone else, but wondering when it’ll be your turn to feel understood, supported, and whole. I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to carry big emotions quietly and to question if you’re “doing enough,” especially when you’re the one others rely on. I work with adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, and the pressure to keep it all together. I especially hold space for first-generation individuals who are balancing multiple roles, identities, and cultural expectations—often without a clear roadmap. But whether or not that’s part of your experience, therapy with me is honest, warm, sometimes a little messy, and 100% judgment-free. You bring your full self—I’ll meet you there.
I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my work because it helps clients identifies the connection between their thought's, emotions and behaviors which is a great starting point in therapy. In practice, this looks like working together to uncover thought patterns that may be contributing to distress, and exploring new ways to reframe them. I have CBT especially helpful for clients navigate anxiety, depression, self doubt, and life transition. My approach is collaborative and flexible, while CBT provides structure, I always tailor our work to fit your unique needs and pace. Together, we create space to build insight, deveople practical coping tools and move toward meaningful change.
I also apply CBT through a trauma informed lens, recognizing the importance of safety and pacing. While CBT is the foundation I draw from, I often blend it with mindfulness, relational work, or psychodynamic insight depending on what's most supportive for you.
