Authentic

Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in the state of Georgia. I received my Master’s Degree from Purdue University and I have been practicing for 12 years. I provide individual and family therapy to adults, couples, and teenagers with various mental health disorders. I am well versed in several counseling techniques and have a compassionate and approachable demeanor. My counseling skills are above par, and as we work together, we will explore and process your needs and develop the best treatment plan. It is important for individuals to disclose information at their own pace. Working together will ensure that you complete your treatment goals successfully.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the initial session, I will provide a brief introduction to therapy and inquire about your history of participating in therapy and discuss the particular issue(s) that have motivated you to seek therapy. We will also work to identify your goals and develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Over the years I have found that my greatest strength as a psychotherapist is my ability to be patient, understanding and non-judgmental to my clients regardless of their concerns and issues. I like to have sessions where my clients feel open to speak about their most private thoughts, while allowing them to gain my trust at their own pace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with clients who are eager to disclose and process their inner feelings and challenges with past and present trauma. I also work with individuals who are not quite ready to open up fully in session. I'm ready to work at your pace in order to be successful throughout our journey together. My goal is to make this a collaborative effort in our professsional relationship.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

According to cognitive behavioral therapy, negative ideas and feelings can keep you stuck in a vicious cycle. It is also believed that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and behaviors are all connected. I've used this therapeutic approach throughout my career with patients who have a wide range of disorders. When we work together utilizing this method, the overall goal will be to dissect your large problems and re-shape them into manageable pieces so that you can approach them in a more constructive manner.
