(she/her)
Hi, I’m Jessica Watson, a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience supporting adults who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck. I’ve worked in hospitals, schools, and neuro-rehab settings, but what matters most is that I offer real, down-to-earth care that meets you where you are. I specialize in helping people untangle anxious thoughts, lift the weight of depression, and better understand how their brain works in a world that doesn’t always make it easy.
Our first session is a soft landing place. I’ll ask some questions to get to know you, your history, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. But more importantly, I want you to feel safe, respected, and in control of the process. We’ll go at your pace, whether that means sharing a lot or just showing up and seeing how it feels. This is the beginning of a working partnership, not a test.
Clients often tell me they feel seen, understood, and more equipped to handle life after working with me. I bring deep clinical experience and a calm, validating presence to our work. What sets me apart is my ability to blend evidence-based tools with a human approach, offering space for self-discovery while also focusing on real, actionable change. I’m especially skilled in helping clients build emotional regulation, self-compassion, and a more sustainable pace in their lives.
I work best with clients who are trying to quiet the noise in their minds and start living with more clarity and confidence. You may be managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or sensory and emotional overwhelm. Maybe you’ve tried to “push through,” but it’s no longer working. You want to feel like yourself again or maybe you’re still figuring out who that is. If you're open to reflection, willing to try something new, and looking for a therapist who is collaborative and compassionate (without being too clinical), we’ll likely be a great fit.
