About me

I am a therapist with more than 17 years of experience in the psychology field, beginning first as a nurse and now as a dedicated clinician. Over the years I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and I have developed a strong understanding of the many ways mental health challenges can appear — whether in personal struggles, relationships, families, or communities. My approach is eclectic and responsive, drawing from Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma-Informed, Person-Centered, Emotionally Focused, Strategic, Solution-Focused, Strength-Based, and Existential modalities. Rather than applying a single method, I weave these together in a living, adaptive way that honors your unique needs in each session. Therapy with me is not about being fit into a rigid model, but about shaping our work so that it reflects your story, your voice, and your goals. I also bring lived experience, both personally and through supporting family and friends, which gives me a deep respect for the courage it takes to seek help. I know what it means to be on the other side of therapy, and I strive to offer the kind of safe, supportive space that I have valued myself. Clients often describe me as loving, openhearted, and non-judgmental. My role is to listen with care, support you in creating an internal dialogue that fosters healing, and help you carry practical skills and insights into every part of your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, the focus is entirely on you...your story, your goals, and what feels most important right now. I’ll invite you to share at your own pace, and I’ll be listening closely to understand not only what brings you here, but also the strengths and values you carry with you. Together, we’ll begin to shape a path forward that feels safe, supportive, and personal to you. My role is not to fit you into a rigid method, but to blend science-based approaches with mindful, relational, and experiential wisdom so that your therapy reflects who you are and what you need most in this moment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the way I bring together over 17 years of experience in psychology — first as a nurse and now as a therapist...with both professional training and lived experience. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, and I have a solid understanding of the full spectrum of mental health concerns, whether individual or relational. Having studied and practiced across nearly all major therapeutic modalities, I adapt flexibly to meet each client’s unique needs. Just as importantly, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of therapy, and I carry that perspective with deep compassion, non-judgment, and an open heart. My clients often tell me they feel truly supported, understood, and encouraged to grow in ways that feel authentic to them.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You deserve a space where all parts of you are welcome, even the ones that sabotage, self-criticize, or carry pain from trauma, addiction, work stress, or relationships. In our sessions, we’ll explore the inner voices in conflict, the parts that tear you down and the ones that long to heal. This isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong,” but understanding your experience and building tools to reduce daily pain, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward balance and relief. If therapy is new to you, or if past experiences with therapy have left you uncertain, this space is designed to be different: grounded, respectful, and tailored to your needs. You’ll be met exactly where you are, no judgment, just support.
