About me

Hi! I’m a licensed therapist who believes therapy should feel like a real conversation—not a performance. I bring warmth, honesty, and a sense of humor into the room, and I work best with people who are ready to get curious about themselves—even if they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. Before becoming a therapist, I earned a BFA in Film & Television Production, and I especially enjoy working with creatives and folks in non-traditional careers—but ultimately, I love supporting people from all walks of life. Before shifting to telehealth, I worked in residential treatment with individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction—an experience that deeply shaped my compassionate, non-judgmental approach. My style is collaborative and flexible, drawing from CBT, solution-focused therapy, ACT, and person-centered methods to meet you where you are. Outside of therapy, you can usually find me hanging out with my husband and our dogs, listening to and discovering new music, making playlists, going to shows, making jewelry, passionately cheering on my favorite sports teams, or catching a movie on the big screen. I know life can feel like a lot sometimes—and I’m here to help you sort through it, at your pace, with no judgment and a little humor when it helps.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I’ll be gathering information to help me get the big picture of your life—what’s going on now, what’s been going on, and what you’re hoping to work on. We’ll talk about different areas like relationships, work, stress, mental health history, and anything else that feels important. It’s okay if you’re not sure where to start or how to explain it—there’s no right way to do this. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and seen as a whole person—not just a problem to solve.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’m not here to “fix” you or act like I have all the answers. I show up as a real person—steady, supportive, and fully in your corner. My clients would probably say it feels like they don’t have to perform or pretend when we talk—which, to me, is exactly how therapy should feel. I listen closely, ask good questions, and help you connect the dots in a way that feels thoughtful, not clinical. I’m someone you can count on to show up with curiosity, care, and the occasional well-timed laugh. Together, we’ll look for areas where you feel ready to take small, meaningful steps toward the life you want—at your pace, on your terms. My goal is to be a grounding presence when life feels anything but.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults 18 and up who are thoughtful, curious, and maybe a little burnt out from holding it all together. You might be the strong one in your circle—the helper, the fixer, the one who’s always “fine”—but inside, you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. My clients are often navigating big questions around identity, relationships, creativity, purpose, or how to feel more like themselves—maybe for the first time. You don’t need to have it all figured out—just a willingness to show up and explore. If you’re looking for a space that’s collaborative, compassionate, and not afraid to keep it real (with the occasional laugh when you need it most), we’ll probably get along just fine.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients notice the unhelpful thought patterns that sneak in and mess with our moods, behaviors, and relationships. Together, we identify the stories you’re telling yourself (often without realizing it), and we figure out how to challenge and shift them into something more grounded, balanced, and kind. CBT is super practical—it gives us tools. Whether you're dealing with anxiety spirals, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, or just that inner critic that won’t shut up, CBT helps us slow down and get curious. I’ll help you practice new ways of thinking, reacting, and showing up—without expecting you to become a robot who never has a bad day.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-focused therapy is all about zooming in on what’s working, and building from there. Instead of spending a ton of time analyzing the past, we focus on your strengths, goals, and small steps that can create real change. I’ll help you notice what’s already going well—even if it doesn’t feel like much right now—and we’ll use that as a foundation to move forward.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

At its core, person-centered therapy is about being real with each other. I show up as a human first, not a distant expert, and I hold space for you to show up exactly as you are—messy thoughts, big feelings, all of it. I’ll follow your lead and move at your pace, trusting that you know yourself best. With warmth, honesty, and zero judgment, we’ll build a relationship that helps you feel seen and supported while you figure out what you need most.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps you stop wasting energy fighting your thoughts and feelings, and start focusing on what actually matters. Instead of getting stuck in the “why am I like this?” spiral, we work on accepting the hard stuff without letting it run the show. You’ll learn how to take meaningful steps—even when life is messy. It’s about moving forward with more clarity, purpose, and maybe even a little self-compassion along the way.
