Hi, I’m Tiffany Wright, a licensed psychotherapist who takes a holistic, mind–body approach to healing. I believe therapy isn’t just about understanding your thoughts — it’s about reconnecting with yourself in a deeper, more compassionate way. I’ve been working in mental health since 2010 and have experience supporting adults, adolescents, and families in settings such as crisis programs, schools, and intensive outpatient care. Over time, my work has evolved to focus on helping people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My approach blends evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with Mindfulness and Somatic practices. I’m also a Registered Yoga Teacher with advanced training in therapeutic yoga, which informs how I help clients understand and regulate their nervous systems. I’m especially passionate about helping people rebuild their relationship with themselves — developing self-trust, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of identity. In our work together, we explore not only what’s happening in your life, but how your mind and body are responding to it. My style is compassionate, grounded, and direct. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely supported while also developing practical tools for meaningful change.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and a little intimidating. My goal in the first session is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. We’ll begin by talking about what brought you to therapy and what has been weighing on you recently. Some people come in with a clear concern, while others simply know something feels overwhelming or difficult. Both are completely okay. I’ll ask questions about different areas of your life — such as current stressors, relationships, work, or past experiences — so I can better understand the context of what you’re going through. There is no expectation to share everything right away. Therapy moves at your pace, and you always have control over what you choose to talk about. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying what you’d like to gain from therapy and discuss how we might move forward together. Many people leave the first session feeling relieved to have a space where they can talk openly and begin making sense of what they’ve been carrying.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my strengths as a therapist is helping people slow down and truly understand themselves — often in ways they haven’t been able to before. I enjoy helping people untangle complex emotions and patterns in a way that feels clear and manageable. Often clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by their thoughts or unsure why certain reactions keep happening. Together, we slow things down and look at what may be driving those patterns so they begin to make sense. I focus on helping clients develop greater awareness of their emotional responses and building skills that support steadiness during stressful moments. This might include learning ways to pause, respond more intentionally, and approach challenges with more clarity and self-trust.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who want to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or disconnected from themselves. On the outside they may appear to be functioning well — managing work, relationships, and responsibilities — but internally they feel stuck or unsure of who they are anymore. I often work with people navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and struggles with self-esteem or identity. Some are going through major life changes, while others simply feel like they’ve been carrying too much for too long. A common theme among the people I work with is a desire to build a healthier relationship with themselves — to understand their emotional patterns, feel more confident in their decisions, and stop being so hard on themselves.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I help clients connect with their values, clarify their vision, and build the flexibility to handle life’s challenges. Through mindfulness and experiential exercises, I guide them to accept what they can’t control and take purposeful action toward what matters most. Seeing people move past avoidance and into lives of meaning is at the heart of my work.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a CBT practitioner, I work with clients to identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Using evidence-based strategies, I address concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship difficulties. In a supportive, collaborative setting, I help clients build practical skills to manage their thoughts and emotions, creating lasting positive change.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

As a therapist passionate about mindfulness, I blend compassion with evidence-based techniques to support clients on their path to well-being. By weaving mindfulness into our work, I help people deepen awareness of their thoughts and emotions, build self-compassion, and strengthen resilience. Seeing clients use the present moment to navigate life’s challenges is both the heart of my work and my calling.

Excellent provider. This was the first therapist that I’ve had that I connected with. I felt very comfortable during the entire session. She was very friendly. She let me talk the whole time and didn’t make my feelings seem invalid.
