I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a warm, supportive space for individuals navigating life changes, grief, and emotional stress. Using CBT and Narrative Therapy, I help clients make sense of their experiences, build coping skills, and reconnect with their strengths. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you on your path toward healing and growth.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your First Session: What to Expect Starting therapy is a big step, so I keep our first meeting simple, collaborative, and low-pressure. Here is how we’ll spend our first 50 minutes together: Getting Settled: We’ll start with a few brief "housekeeping" items (like confidentiality) to ensure you feel informed and secure. Opening the Door: This is your space to share what brought you here. You don’t need to have a perfect "story" ready; we’ll just talk about what’s on your mind and what challenges you’re facing. Defining Goals: We’ll discuss what you hope to change or achieve. This helps us create a flexible roadmap so our work feels intentional from day one. Checking the "Fit": The most important goal is making sure you feel comfortable with me. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and see if my style feels like the right match for you. My Goal: By the end of our first hour, you should feel a sense of relief and a clear understanding of how we will move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that every person deserves a life that feels fulfilling, no matter what they’ve walked through. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), my career has been defined by showing up for people in their most vulnerable moments—from the hallways of busy hospitals to the sacred space of hospice care and the challenges of the homeless community. My background in bereavement and crisis work has taught me that healing isn't about 'fixing' someone; it’s about walking alongside them as they navigate grief, transition, and change. I bring a grounded, practical, and deeply compassionate approach to therapy. I’m here to help you connect the dots, find your resilience, and build a life that feels whole again.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with children, adults, seniors, and families navigating life changes, emotional stress, or grief. My ideal clients are those seeking a supportive space to strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and foster healing across generations. I value working collaboratively with families to support resilience, understanding, and emotional well-being

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical strategies to challenge them. CBT is goal-oriented and skills-based, empowering clients to build healthier coping tools, improve emotional regulation, and create lasting positive change in their daily lives.

Narrative

I incorporate Narrative Therapy as a collaborative and strengths-based approach that focuses on understanding how personal stories influence identity and behavior. Treatment involves externalizing problems, identifying dominant narratives, and highlighting alternative stories that reflect clients’ values, abilities, and preferred ways of living. This approach supports clients in reclaiming authorship of their lives and fostering a sense of agency.

Grief Therapy

Grief is not something to “get over,” but something to be understood and integrated. In grief therapy, I support clients as they explore their loss, validate their emotional responses, and gently reconnect with hope and purpose. My approach respects that grief looks different for everyone and focuses on helping clients move forward while honoring what has been lost.
