(she/her)
I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who provides both medication management and therapy for children, teens, and adults. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, ADHD and autism, substance use, and the everyday stress that comes with juggling work, family, and life. My style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth—I will always be honest with you, but never judgmental. In our work together, I combine evidence-based treatments with practical tools you can actually use outside of session. We will look at what is weighing you down, build coping skills, and adjust medications thoughtfully when needed. My goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and equipped to move from just surviving to feeling more grounded, hopeful, and in control of your life.
In our first session, my priority is helping you feel safe and understood. We’ll spend most of the time talking about what brought you in, your history, and what life looks like for you right now. I’ll ask questions about your symptoms, medical history, past treatment, and goals so I can get a full picture—not to judge, but to understand. We’ll discuss possible diagnoses, treatment options, and whether medication, therapy, or a combination makes the most sense for you. I’ll explain things in plain language and invite your questions so you leave knowing what we’re working on together, what to expect next, and how to reach me between appointments if concerns come up.
My greatest strengths are being real, non-judgmental, and thorough. I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience working with children, teens, and adults facing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD/autism, and substance use. I blend evidence-based therapy approaches with medication management, so you don’t have to choose between “talk” and “meds”—we can do both in one place. Clients tell me they appreciate that I am honest but kind, that I listen closely, and that I explain diagnoses and medications in a way that finally makes sense. I’m not here to label you; I’m here to partner with you, help you feel less overwhelmed, and give you concrete tools you can use in your day-to-day life.
My ideal clients are people who have been “holding it all together” for everyone else and are finally ready to have a space for themselves. You might be a busy parent, a teen who feels misunderstood, someone living with trauma, anxiety, or depression, or a person managing ADHD, autism, or substance use who is tired of feeling like “too much” or “not enough.” You don’t need to show up perfect—you just need to show up as you are. I’m best suited for clients who want a collaborative partner: someone who will listen closely, offer clear education about symptoms and medications, and gently challenge patterns that keep you stuck. If you are ready to feel less overwhelmed, improve your relationships, and learn concrete skills to manage your emotions and daily life, we will be a good fit.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients notice the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together we identify unhelpful patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and practice new coping skills that fit real-life situations at home, work, and school.
Trauma Informed Care
I provide trauma-informed care by moving at a pace that feels safe for you and giving you control over the process. We work on grounding skills, understanding how trauma affects the brain and body, and gently processing difficult experiences without re-traumatizing you.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My approach is person-centered, which means I view you as the expert on your own life. I offer a non-judgmental, validating space where we explore your story, values, and strengths so you can make decisions that line up with who you really are
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a solution-focused approach to help you identify what is already working and build on those strengths. We set clear, realistic goals and break them down into small steps so you can see progress quickly and feel more in control
Psychoeducation
I provide clear, practical education about diagnoses, symptoms, medications, and coping skills. I help clients and families understand what is happening, what to expect, and how to use tools between sessions to manage mood, anxiety, and behavior
