I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) with experience working with individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges. I started my career in child and family welfare and violence prevention. Since then, I have worked as an individual and couples therapist, group facilitator, medical social worker, and with the perinatal/postpartum population. With experience supporting individuals across the lifespan, I’m here to help you manage stress, anxiety, and life transitions with compassion and understanding. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, focusing on your unique needs and strengths. I draw on various modalities, including ACT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. Above all, I prioritize compassion and resilience-building.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Therapy with me is collaborative. The first session is to get to know each other and determine whether we are a good fit. I'll get to know you by asking questions about your current life, and some about your background. You're welcome to ask me any questions as well!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I use a conversational, relational approach. I hope that clients leave therapy feeling supported, understood, and empowered.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals as they face life changes or transition periods. This can include clients who are looking to develop introspection, reduce stress and anxiety, and create a life they feel fulfilled by.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I've used elements of DBT in my practice for 3 years to help clients develop balance and change in their lives. DBT focuses on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I've used elements of ACT in my practice for 3 years. ACT encourages psychological flexibility, which can help you clarify your values and take action.
