New to Grow
Whether you’re new to therapy or giving it another try, it’s okay to feel unsure about where to begin. I work with clients who want a space that feels grounded, respectful, and honest. A place where you can explore what’s been weighing on you without pressure or judgment. Together, we slow things down enough to understand patterns and emotions, while also working toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable. I’m a bilingual (Spanish/English) therapist, and much of my work is with teens and adults impacted by trauma, including individuals navigating immigration-related stress, cultural and systemic challenges, and major life transitions. I’m especially mindful of how culture, identity, and lived experience shape the way people move through the world and through therapy.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and settling into the space together. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. There’s no pressure to share everything at once, we move at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling supported, more at ease, and with a clearer sense of how therapy could be helpful.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is helping clients make sense of their experiences in a way that feels both grounding and practical. I support clients in reducing emotional distress, developing insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and building coping strategies they can actually use outside of session. Many clients notice improved emotional regulation, greater clarity around their thoughts and experiences, and a stronger sense of agency as our work progresses.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with teens and adults who are looking for a supportive, thoughtful space to explore emotional challenges or navigate changes in their lives. Many of the clients I support feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck, or are carrying experiences from the past that continue to show up in the present. I tend to work well with people who are curious about understanding themselves more deeply and who want therapy to feel collaborative rather than prescriptive.
Relational
My clinical work is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational, and culturally responsive approach. I prioritize building safety, trust, and a strong therapeutic alliance, recognizing that for many clients, particularly survivors of violence and individuals from marginalized or immigrant communities, the relationship itself is a key part of healing.
