Have you experienced trauma, whether recent or in the past, and found yourself feeling stuck there? You are not alone! I help individuals who are sick and tired of being sick and tired. I help adolescents and adults who have experienced emotional injury from their family of origin and are motivated to address feelings of being stuck as a result. I teach the emotional regulation skills needed so they can experience healing, move towards a life of growth and fulfillment, let go of old patterns and embrace new experiences. I have dedicated the last decade to assisting individuals and communities address the impacts of trauma. I have trained in EMDR and other integrative trauma-informed approaches to support clients in sharing their stories, identifying and achieving goals, improving relationships, improving self-esteem/confidence, and exploring patterns and triggers to improve emotional stability.
During sessions, I focus on fostering a therapeutic relationship of mutuality, acceptance and positive regard. I will assist you in exploring interventions and techniques that have proven to benefit the mind, body and spirit and most importantly align with your values.
I am a trained EMDR therapist. I also utilize other trauma-informed interventions such as IFS, Mindfulness-based CBT, somatic processing as well as standard talk therapy.
My identity as an Indigenous American informs my unique perspective on the impacts of generational trauma.
