I create a warm, collaborative, and solution-focused environment where clients can feel heard and empowered. I believe that every client has the capacity to heal and grow with the right support and guidance.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a comfortable, judgment-free space where we will discuss your goals, concerns, and what brought you to seek therapy. I will take the time to learn about your personal history, current challenges, and what support means to you. Together, we will collaborate to develop a plan that aligns with your unique needs, focusing on building trust and comfort from the very beginning. This initial session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapeutic process and to share what works best for you. My priority is for you to leave this first session feeling understood and hopeful that change is possible. Together, we will begin setting realistic goals to guide your healing journey and work towards emotional balance, empowerment, and lasting growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in building authentic and compassionate connections, as well as tailoring treatment to each client’s unique story. With a background in behavioral health, family systems, and crisis intervention, I offer a holistic and practical approach to therapy. I combine evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness with empathy and active listening to ensure that clients feel seen and supported. Clients often describe me as warm, understanding, and solution-focused. I help individuals uncover the root causes of their struggles, develop healthy coping strategies, and rediscover their confidence. Whether I’m guiding women through emotional overwhelm, supporting children with anxiety, or helping families communicate more effectively, I am dedicated to fostering empowerment and promoting long term emotional growth

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals seeking balance, healing, and personal growth in their lives. I specialize in working with women who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, and the pressures of balancing family and work. Additionally, I support children and adolescents struggling with emotional regulation, school stress, or adjustment difficulties. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. In our sessions, I create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can process difficult emotions, gain clarity, and develop practical coping tools. My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and empowerment strategies. I believe therapy should meet clients where they are, whether that involves unpacking past experiences, improving current relationships, or building resilience for the future. My goal is to help clients leave each session feeling seen, supported, and equipped to move forward with greater peace and confidence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist clients in understanding the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I guide them in identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and replacing these with more balanced thoughts to enhance their emotional regulation. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. The sessions are collaborative and skill-based, emphasizing coping tools such as grounding techniques, reframing negative thoughts, and thought journaling to promote long-term resilience.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I utilize a Person-Centered approach by creating a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and valued. I believe that each client is the expert of their own experience, and my role is to guide them in self-exploration and personal growth. This method helps clients build self-esteem, self-acceptance, and confidence in their decision-making abilities. It is particularly effective for adolescents and adults who are navigating issues related to identity, relationships, or emotional challenges.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness practices to help clients feel more grounded and present in their daily lives. For those struggling with anxiety or depression, mindfulness can reduce rumination, improve emotional regulation, and foster self-compassion. During our sessions, I teach practical tools such as deep breathing, grounding exercises, and guided visualization. These techniques enable clients to find moments of calm and clarity throughout their day.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to assist clients in exploring and resolving their ambivalence while enhancing their motivation for positive change. In my practice, I create a nonjudgmental and collaborative space where clients feel heard and empowered to set their own goals. I employ reflective listening, open-ended questions, and affirmations to help clients identify their internal motivations and build confidence in their ability to make meaningful life changes. This approach has proven especially effective for clients dealing with depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
