New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist with experience working with a diverse range of populations. My communication style is warm, caring, and encouraging, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their goals at their own pace. My primary approach is humanistic and person-centered, while thoughtfully integrating additional modalities based on each client’s unique needs. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session focuses on getting to know one another and exploring what has brought you to therapy. It is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your concerns, and determine whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. I take a collaborative approach to goal setting and encourage you to identify what you hope to achieve through our work together. We will revisit these goals throughout therapy to assess progress and adjust our focus as needed.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Clients often share that what stands out is feeling supported rather than judged, and encouraged rather than pushed. I help clients clarify their goals, better understand their patterns, and develop tools that feel realistic and sustainable. I prioritize building trust and tailoring therapy to each client’s needs, supporting both emotional insight and practical growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I frequently work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I believe the therapeutic relationship is strengthened by a client’s courage and willingness to share their experiences and remain open to new ideas and perspectives.
Humanistic
I work from a humanistic, client-centered approach, believing that people are inherently capable of growth, healing, and change when provided with empathy, authenticity, and respect. Our work centers on understanding your unique experiences, values, and strengths, and supporting you in building a life that feels more meaningful and aligned. I also draw on other approaches such as CBT, DBT and mindfulness when appropriate to what clients are experiencing.
