VirtualAvailable

I've been working virtually since 2016, and get comments about how easy it is to feel connected and comfortable in video sessions with me. My style is to listen, then provide you with various skills to help you in the present time, which helps you empower your life to align with your best self. I appreciate being humorous and light, and can also be pretty challenging to help you grow. I will not sit back and just nod... I give homework and help you make changes week to week.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will feel different than ongoing sessions: the first is called an Initial Assessment. I will ask questions about what is bringing you to therapy, some family history, your ideas of what has influenced you to become the person you are today, and your goals for therapy. After the first session, your hour is used however you want to use it! You can talk about current stress, symptoms that you want to lesson, relationship issues, influence of your upbringing, thought patterns, grief, hopes and dreams, any challenges that get in the way, etc!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a huge tool box to draw from, and can pull resources for whatever you're struggling with. I will give homework for you to practice between sessions and check what helped to create success, or identify barriers to problem solve how to remove those. I also have a plus one... my cat Whinny often appears on screen and her cameos bring smiles and calm.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you lack balance in your relationships, have work stress, lack self esteem, have poor body image or unusual eating habits, or have a desire to stay in control, you can learn to shift towards living a calm, and value-aligned authentic life. I want you to be empowered and trust in yourself to make the choices that are best for you. Although most people look for guidance or help when things are going wrong, it’s also helpful to find what is going well in your life to compliment the hard work you’ll be embarking on. I excel at helping people find and practice gratitude, recognize their natural strengths, laugh more, find peace and increase their hope.
