I am the therapist that believes that you are the expert of your life. I believe in the human ability to change. You are the navigator of this journey and I am here to add to your tool box. I am not here to tell you what to do with your life, I am here to assist you with seeing and living the life you envision. We'll laugh, we'll cry, we'll joke and we A little about me, I am a Caribbean-American woman raised in GA with a northern spark. I truly love being a therapist, but I am a full human first. I love outdoors, yoga, cooking, and experiencing new things that gets my heart pumping. One of my favorite coping skills is watching a movie that makes me come to tears. My diverse background working with individuals with disabilities from brain injury, amputations, to spinal injuries, I have a unique ability to hold space to assist through life changing transitional experiences. My experience has equipped be to hold space for you in the most complex seasons of your life.
Our first session is our baseline of exploring who you are as a person and an extension of your consultation. You will get to catch my vibe and see if we pair well together for this journey. Cohesion between the two of us is important to me. I want you to feel comfortable with showing up authentically, as I practice the same. We will set goals, describe your ideal therapeutic experience, and identify what in-between sessions you are open to participating in. With you at the center of our mission, this space will lean into your natural strengths and invite additional strategies when necessary.
My greatest strength as a therapist is that I have the patience to walk you through this journey step by step. There is no rushing to be vulnerable and opening up. Please understand that the therapeutic relationship is a foundation and demonstration of trust. I would like to partner with you to dive into your past and present experiences that are leaving you in repeated patterns of isolation, exhaustion, overwhelm, and self-doubt. The goal is for you to leave this experience with the ability to name your emotions, articulate your needs and desires, and set boundaries around your most authentic self.

At the root of my practice I believe our internal dialogue and narratives shape our POV which influence our confidence, self compassion, and ability to explore assertive communication. Together we explore how our thoughts influence emotions and behaviors both consciously and subconsciously. We invite honest emotional expression into our sessions that open a door to how we see ourselves in the world and how we show up within our relationship with self and others.
I partner with my clients to identify the rules in which they are operating their decisions. Together we explore the history and it's impact on current personal and professional relationships.
I invite my clients to discuss faith when they feel comfortable to do so. I do not place my personal beliefs on to my clients, but instead welcome their desire to discuss their spiritual relationship in cohesion with their path to experience positive mental health holistically.
