New to Grow
Hello! I’m a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW, PhD) with decades of experience helping adults navigate relationship challenges, loss, life transitions, and periods of burnout or uncertainty. My work blends integrative, evidence-based therapy with coaching principles so that insight translates into meaningful and sustainable change. As a university professor, I also value integrating psychoeducational learning into our sessions. I’m direct but warm, helping you understand yourself with nonjudgmental compassion while supporting you in making choices that feel aligned with who you are and what you value.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant history. I’ll ask questions, offer reflections, and help you begin making sense of patterns or concerns. We’ll also talk about how I work and whether this feels like a good fit for you
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths include building genuine, trusting relationships and helping clients translate insight into real change. Clients often share that they feel deeply heard and supported, and that our work helps them gain clarity, confidence, and momentum in their lives. I combine warmth, humor, and advocacy with thoughtful challenge, supporting clients in making choices that lead to meaningful, lasting progress.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are reflective adults navigating relationship challenges, loss, life transitions, or burnout who want greater clarity and alignment in their lives. They value insight, psychoeducation, and a collaborative process that supports meaningful, sustainable change.
Integrative
I practice from an eclectic, integrative orientation, drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches and adapting my work to what is most useful for the individual in front of me
