(she/her)
Hello! I’m Natarsha Williams, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and human services and a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Clayton State University. I am a purpose-driven and inclusive therapist who values diversity and is passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and wholeness. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem, suicidality, interpersonal relationship concerns, academic stress, and family issues. It is my goal to help you understand who and what has shaped how you see yourself, others, and the world. Together, we will work to build positive connections within yourself and with others, and equip you with tools for resilience, healthy coping, and strong social support as you navigate life’s challenges. If you're looking for a safe and affirming space to explore your story, process your emotions, and grow in confidence and self-understanding, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
I always utilize our first session as an introductory session. Think of it as the trailer to your life story. During the first session, I ask questions to help me gain an understanding of who you are and what has shaped you. By the end of the first session, my goal is to understand what has led you to therapy and how I can assist you with making your goals a reality.
As a therapist, I am warm and casual while focused on your goal. In session, I utilize empathy, humor, and strength-based strategies as I support you with identifying your needs and developing a skillset to get your needs met in healthy ways.
My ideal clients are those who are showing up for themselves—even when it’s hard—and are open to growth, curiosity, and trying something new. I genuinely enjoy working with emerging adults and college-aged individuals as they navigate identity, independence, and life transitions. I also have a special place in my work for women balancing both college and motherhood, who are carrying so much while still striving toward their goals. I am passionate about supporting individuals who are ready to break intergenerational trauma and create new paths for themselves. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated, willing to try, and open to exploring their experiences—even if they’re unsure where to start. Some of my favorite work has been with individuals who have been through a great deal but continue to show resilience and a desire for change. I am especially drawn to working with those whose lives have been shaped by the intersection of their identities and experiences of marginalization. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported in all aspects of who they are. I also enjoy working with teen girls who are exploring identity development, building self-esteem, and strengthening their sense of self-worth. Watching clients grow into a deeper understanding and appreciation of themselves is one of the most meaningful parts of the work I do.
