With a Master’s in Counseling from Oakland University, I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life stressors and relationship struggles. I have been guiding people through life's challenges for the last 16 years. I am a parent myself and understand the stress of balancing work and families which gives me the perspective to help others.
In our first session, I will get to know you and the reason that you have decided to take this important first step. I will make sure that you feel comfortable and address the most important things you have going on. I will leave you with at least 1-3 tools you can use between sessions to begin feeling better.

I use compassion focused therapy to help people cultivate compassion for themselves to increase self esteem, decrease depression and help regulate emotions.
I use Solution Focused Therapy to help people achieve goals while finding solutions to problems that they may have.
I use CBT to help people make a connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. This allows us to work together to challenge and reframe negative thoughts.
I used mindfulness in my practice to help people become more aware of their thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations.
