My name is Kayla Cook, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked in the field since 2020. I graduated with my Master's degree from APSU. I strive to support individuals in meeting their mental health goals. My passion is to provide a safe and affirming space, based in evidenced-based practices as to lower distress and increase empowerment and resiliency in my clients.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we would address your concerns, needs, symptoms, therapeutic goals and plan for treatment. Our sessions from then on will surround actively meeting your goals, lowering your symptoms, and aligning with your needs.

I have completed training in ADHD/Neurodivergence, DBT, Trauma, ACT, and in Gender Affirming Care.

I have a special place in my heart for individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, relationship concerns and LGBTQIA+ dynamics and needs. My desire is to help you process your experiences and emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and create skills to battle any distressing situations you may encounter.
