Are you looking for therapy that honors your experience while also inviting insight, participation, and meaningful change? I offer a calm, steady, and judgment-free space grounded in decades of work supporting personal growth and relational development. Originally licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1997, I also bring over twenty-one years of experience coaching individuals and teams through life transitions, communication challenges, and periods of change. Many people come to therapy when something no longer fits—when relationships feel strained, a career feels uncertain, grief reshapes daily life, or illness changes priorities. Others are carrying self-doubt, low mood, or emotional fatigue while continuing to show up for everyone else. My work focuses on helping you regain steadiness, clarity, and a sense of agency in both your inner life and your relationships.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance to settle in and see if working together feels like a good fit. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy now and what you’re hoping might feel different. Establishing a sense of safety, understanding, and direction is the priority. Many clients leave the first session feeling less alone and clearer about next steps, even if nothing feels “solved” yet.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring steadiness, careful listening, and respect for your lived experience. I help slow things down enough to notice patterns—in thoughts, emotions, and relationships—that may be contributing to feeling stuck or overwhelmed. My background in both clinical therapy and long-term coaching allows me to support insight while also encouraging thoughtful, sustainable change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults from 19 to 70—often women, as well as emotionally attuned men—who are navigating career questions, life transitions, grief and loss, illness such as cancer, or challenges with self-esteem and mood. Many are also noticing how these experiences affect their relationships and sense of connection. This work is a good fit if you are open to reflection and want support that is compassionate, steady, and oriented toward and motivated for meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as part of an eclectic, integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs. In my practice, ACT is used to help clients develop psychological flexibility, clarify values, and relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions. I integrate ACT through experiential exercises, mindfulness practices, metaphors, and values-based behavioral interventions, often in combination with other evidence-based therapies to support meaningful and sustainable change.
