I have 15+ years of experience as a mental health therapist in the state of Kentucky as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I am also a Board approved Clinical Supervisor for the licensing board. I have worked in a variety of settings over the course of my career and enjoy providing services to individuals who have a variety of needs to obtain overall wellness. I focus on the resolution and healing of the impact life circumstances present. I believe life was never meant to be a struggle and overcoming and healing those struggles can be the beginning of a new life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, you can expect a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can begin right where you are. We’ll spend time understanding what brings you to therapy, exploring your goals, and getting a sense of your story at your comfort level—without pressure to dive into anything before you’re ready. I’ll answer any questions about the therapeutic process, explain how modalities like EMDR or Brainspotting may support your healing, and we’ll begin building a strong foundation of trust and collaboration. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction, feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a trauma-informed therapist who brings compassion, skill, and safety into every healing space. Using powerful modalities like EMDR and Brainspotting, I help clients move through deeply rooted pain, shift negative beliefs, and release what the body and mind have held for far too long. My strengths lie in creating a trusting therapeutic relationship, guiding emotional regulation with steadiness and care, and facilitating deep, neurobiological healing without pushing clients to relive trauma unnecessarily. I work collaboratively with clients, honoring their pace while supporting meaningful and transformative change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal adult client is someone who knows they’re ready for real change but may feel stuck in lingering stress, trauma, anxiety, or emotional patterns that traditional talk therapy hasn’t fully resolved. They are open to deeper, brain-body based healing, willing to explore beneath the surface, and seeking relief that goes beyond coping into true transformation. Whether they are navigating past trauma, high-pressure environments, relationship strain, or inner burnout, they are motivated, self-aware, and ready to partner in a therapy process that supports lasting healing and growth.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process and heal from distressing experiences and trauma. I guide clients to safely activate troubling memories while using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, tapping, or audio tones) to support the brain’s natural ability to reprocess information. This helps reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories, shift negative core beliefs, and promote adaptive coping and healing. EMDR is evidence-based and effective for trauma, anxiety, complex PTSD, and other stress-related concerns.

Brainspotting

I use Brainspotting to help clients access, process, and release trauma, emotional pain, and negative beliefs stored deep in the body and brain. By identifying specific eye positions that connect to areas of activation or distress, I support clients in processing at a neurobiological level, often bypassing the need for extensive verbalization. Brainspotting is a gentle yet powerful, brain-body based approach that can lead to deep healing, emotional regulation, and long-lasting change, especially for trauma, anxiety, performance concerns, and unresolved stress.
