Dr. Stephanie has over twenty-five years of counseling experience serving children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. She earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Howard University. She provides client-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and affirming services in the quest to meet a client "where they are" and to support them on their journey to wellness and a life worth living. The aim is to empower each client to become the best version of self at home, at work, and in their relationships. Therapy with me will be a collaborative journey that fosters self-discovery, resilience, and positive change.

Dr. Stephanie is open to new ideas, adaptable to individual needs, and willing to explore innovative approaches to help clients overcome challenges and achieve their desired outcomes. I will create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly express your thoughts and emotions as I listen attentively, show empathy, and validate your experiences. While I work with a range of clients with various backgrounds, I am especially attuned to the challenges, needs, and experiences of Black women and girls. I’m passionate about inclusion, equity, and embracing difference for the avoidance of othering, marginalization, and misunderstanding.

Used effectively to treat a variety of treatment issues like depression, anxiety, relational issues, and trauma to help clients devleop effective coping skills, interpersonal effectiveness skills, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance skills.
Work with diverse clients especially African American clients to provide a safe space to help htem navigate racism, discrimination, microaggressions, and a host of other issues that people of color face dailyin this society.
