(She/Her)
I’m a therapist who specializes in supporting women through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into motherhood. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are—whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. My approach is collaborative and practical, helping you better understand your experiences while building tools to feel more grounded, confident, and supported.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. I’ll ask some gentle questions to better understand your experiences, current challenges, and what support might look like for you. We’ll also go over your goals for therapy, whether that’s feeling less overwhelmed, managing anxiety, processing your experience, or adjusting to a new phase of life. I’ll explain how I work and make sure you have space to ask any questions along the way. Most importantly, the first session is about creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. By the end, we’ll have a clearer sense of what you need and how we can begin working toward it together.
What stands out about my approach is the balance between depth and practicality. I don’t just offer a space to talk—I help you understand why you’re feeling the way you are while also giving you real tools to feel better in your day-to-day life. I integrate approaches like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy, which means we can both explore deeper patterns and actively work on changing the thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you stuck. This allows our work to feel both validating and forward-moving. I also bring a warm, down-to-earth style into sessions. Therapy with me doesn’t have to feel overly clinical or heavy all the time—there’s room to be real, to process hard things, and also to feel human in the process. Clients often leave sessions feeling more grounded, clearer in their thinking, and more confident in how they respond to challenges. Over time, this leads to meaningful, lasting change—not just temporary relief, but a deeper sense of self-trust and emotional resilience.
My ideal client is a woman navigating the emotional complexities of infertility, pregnancy, or the postpartum period who feels overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from herself. She may be struggling with intrusive thoughts, grief around unmet expectations, identity shifts, or the pressure to “hold it all together.” She is often used to being capable and strong, but now finds herself in a season that feels unfamiliar and heavy. She may be questioning her body, her worth, or her ability to cope, while also trying to show up for her family or future plans. She is seeking a space where she can be honest without judgment—where she doesn’t have to minimize her experience or pretend everything is okay. She’s open to support, even if she’s unsure where to start, and wants to better understand herself, feel more grounded, and reconnect with a sense of confidence and stability. Together, we focus on helping her feel seen, supported, and empowered as she moves through this chapter with greater clarity, self-compassion, and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In short, you use CBT because it gives women both insight and actionable tools—helping them move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to feeling more in control, supported, and resilient.
Motivational Interviewing
As a therapist, I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) because it honors the complexity of what women experience during pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood—especially when they feel overwhelmed, ambivalent, or unsure about change.
Psychodynamic
As a therapist, I use a psychodynamic approach because it allows me to explore the deeper emotional layers that often surface during pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood.
