New to Grow
I am trauma therapist who is here to provide a safe and empathetic place for you to learn new ways of thinking, feelng and acting according to your life and therapeutic goals. My joy is helping others feel better and live an optimal quality of life. I have served as MICA Coordinator and Addictions IOP Cooridinator, specialize in complex trauma, counsel parents of chidren with ASD, and help people manage there ADHD. I'll combine my past careers as an educator, arts advocate, performer, athlete, coach, artist and continuing career as a professional musician in the integrated approach to your treament as it is tailored to you.
At the first session we get to know each other as you share some information about yourself. We try some new skills right away for some relief. You get to ask as many questions as you like. You tell me your goals and I give you some choices about how to achieve them.
My clients say that I make them feel at ease and I listen. They like that I give them specific skills to practice, lots of them and they say they like the processing and reprocessing of thoughts and feelings. They feel understood and validated, and they feel better.
My ideal client is one who is motivated and ready to feel better. One who enjoys a challenge, is open to different ways of experiencing life and one who is ready to try new skills. Most of my clients have experienced very difficult experiences that have them stuck. Here we learn that we have options and we learn our own strengths and resources.
I use CBT, DBT, ego parts, EMDR, somatic, MIndfulness, narcissistic-abuse, attachment and trauma-informed integrated protocols tailore to the client .
