Hello! If you're interested in working with Jennifer, please be advised that Jennifer conducts short consultations before scheduling a full-hour session. The initial consultation is 30 minutes for the first meeting/session. Jennifer's practice is fully virtual at this time. Jennifer Hart, MA, LPC, E-RYT is a licensed professional counselor and yoga instructor with over a decade of experience in mind and body wellness practices. She holds a Master’s degree from Eastern University in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree from LaSalle University in Communication and Psychology. She is also a Reiki Master, and avid plant ally, being a student of Diane Steine and also attending Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine. She completed her yoga studies in 2018 at Studio 34. She is heavily involved in studying somatic forms of therapy and has a trauma-informed approach with her clients. Prior to receiving her license, Jennifer worked in clinical and community settings, working with a variety of clients with co-occurring disorders, Substance Abuse, Anxiety and PTSD, and Domestic Violence.

We'll meet for a period to talk through my training and what brings you to this space of wanting counseling.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Motivational Interviewing, Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoeducation.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a strength-based therapist, knowledgeable of anatomy, yoga, meditative exercise and culturally sensitive. I have been told that "you always have a positive twist on things."
