About me

Peace of Mind is your Birthright! My career began in 2013, when I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and later completed my Master of Nursing from SUNY Upstate Medical University. Since then, I have been devoted to supporting individuals and families through their life's toughest moments. I am committed to relieving your human suffering. I view it as my calling.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our initial session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into your relevant history, and the specific suffering you're facing. This will help me create a tailored pharmacological and non-pharmacological plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. My clients tend to leave their sessions feeling lighter, gaining new perspectives, and seeing hopes. I will meet you where you're at in each and every session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Rooted in my immigrant background, I bring a unique, empathetic, and deeply spiritual lens to my work. I weave together the wisdom of Eastern and Western healing traditions, honoring the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I place a strong emphasis on cultural competence, shaped by meaningful experiences growing up and living in diverse communities, as well as immersing myself in cultures around the world through extensive travel. As part of my psychiatric care, I incorporate brief psychotherapy into every session. This allows me to not only address medication management, but also provide support and practical tools to help you manage challenges more effectively.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a practitioner with advanced training in psychopharmacology, I guide the safe and effective use of medications as part of a personalized plan. I also recognize that medications are not (or may not be enough) for everyone. My intentionally small practice allows me to provide highly individualized attention. Be it anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, conflicts in relationships, or struggles with adapting to change - Together, we will formulate a plan that will help you heal, which may include a combination of medications, psychotherapy, and lifestyle changes.

Yi is very authentic and empowering. She takes her time to get to know you and understand the issues you're facing. She's been open minded to a lot of the symptoms/thoughts/experiences I've had that cause my mental health issues, and I feel very seen and heard by her.

She is truly life changing. She was the first person who made me feel genuinely heard and understood. From the beginning, she showed deep empathy and a real commitment to helping me find the right treatment. She patiently worked with me to identify a medication that would effectively manage my symptoms and didn’t stop until we found the right fit. Her warmth, kindness, and willingness to listen and support have made all the difference. I can’t recommend her enough.
