I am a Licensed Master Social Worker based in Michigan with over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges. I earned my master’s degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through times of change and hardship. My work focuses on helping people struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship stress, and burnout. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we work toward building resilience, healing, and self-discovery so you can move forward as the best version of yourself. With a blend of professional insight and genuine empathy, my goal is to walk alongside you, offering support, tools, and encouragement as you strengthen your emotional well-being and reclaim a sense of balance in your life.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive relationship. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what challenges you’re facing, and what goals you’d like to work toward. We’ll talk about your personal history, current stressors, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. This session also gives you space to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for my style and approach. By the end of our first visit, we’ll begin outlining a plan together — one that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the steps ahead.
What sets my approach apart is the balance of professional expertise and genuine empathy I bring to every session. With over 20 years of experience, I understand that no two clients are alike, so I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs. I combine evidence-based methods with a compassionate, down-to-earth style that helps clients feel both supported and empowered. Clients often share that they appreciate my ability to truly listen without judgment, while also providing practical tools and honest feedback that foster real, lasting change.
My ideal client is an adult who is feeling weighed down by the demands of life — whether that’s anxiety, depression, grief, relationship stress, or burnout — and is ready to seek support. They may appear strong and capable on the outside but often feel overwhelmed, stuck, or alone on the inside. They value having a safe, non-judgmental space to process their emotions and are open to exploring new ways of coping, healing, and growing. My ideal client is motivated to work toward becoming the best version of themselves and appreciates a therapist who is compassionate, experienced, and practical in helping them navigate life’s challenges.
I use CBT to identify and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors to promote positive changes in emotions and behavior. This involves collaborative goal setting, cognitive restructuring techniques, behavioral experiments, and skill-building exercises to help individuals develop more adaptive coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.

I feel comfortable telling her anything, even things I feel would be viewed as shameful to some. Thats a rare thing for me to feel. She's very warm and intelligent with helpful insight and humor. I have found her extremely helpful to my overall wellbeing and mental health.
