Hi, I’m Madison Wolfe! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I’m passionate about supporting adults through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, grounded, and straightforward, creating a space where clients feel truly heard and empowered to grow. I see therapy as a collaborative process and believe lasting change happens when we better understand ourselves and learn new tools to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your goals, background, and what you’re hoping to work on. There’s no pressure to share everything right away. We’ll go at your pace. I focus on creating a comfortable, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe being open and honest. By the end of our session, we’ll have a clearer sense of direction and some initial steps to work toward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is building a genuine, supportive space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I’m warm, relatable, and direct — I believe in being honest while also deeply compassionate. I work collaboratively, acting as a guide while each client leads their own process. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT and person-centered therapy to help clients manage anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to help people feel more in control, gain clarity, and build the tools they need to move forward. Clients often say they feel understood, empowered, and more grounded after our work together.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to help themselves, even if they’re not quite sure how yet. My ideal clients are adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or disconnected from who they want to be — and who are open to doing the inner work it takes to grow. You don’t need to have the answers; you just need a willingness to show up and be curious. I’m here to support, guide, and challenge you as you learn to better understand yourself, build confidence, and make meaningful changes in your life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use structured, collaborative CBT to link thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping clients test beliefs empirically and build lifelong skills through homework and guided discovery.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients build psychological flexibility by changing their relationship with thoughts and feelings rather than trying to eliminate them. I focus on present-moment awareness, values clarification, and committed action so clients can move toward lives that feel meaningful, even when difficult internal experiences show up. In sessions, I use experiential exercises, metaphors, and mindfulness-based practices to help clients notice thoughts as thoughts, make space for emotion, and choose behavior guided by values instead of avoidance or fear.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing as a collaborative, nonjudgmental way to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about change. I focus on drawing out their own reasons and motivation, rather than persuading or directing. In sessions, I lean on open questions, affirmations, reflective listening, and summaries to deepen insight and highlight change talk. I pay close attention to readiness for change and move at the client’s pace, supporting autonomy while gently guiding the conversation toward their stated values and goals.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use person-centered therapy to create a warm, non-directive space where clients feel truly heard and accepted. I offer unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence, trusting clients' innate capacity for self-growth and healing. In sessions, I reflect feelings accurately, mirror experiences without judgment or advice, and follow the client's lead to foster self-awareness and congruence.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to quickly build on clients' strengths and successes rather than dwelling on problems. I focus on what clients want to achieve, their preferred future, and small, achievable steps to get there. In sessions, I ask miracle questions, scaling questions, and exception-finding questions to highlight times when the problem is less present and amplify those moments. This approach keeps sessions goal-oriented, positive, and efficient, empowering clients to see change as already underway.
