LPC, 10 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi, I’m Brandon Fisher, a licensed therapist with 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and creating a safe space where clients feel heard and understood. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster growth, insight, and healing. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, I’m here to help you find clarity and peace.
During our initial sessions, we will develop a therapeutic relationship involving safe space and developing resources for trauma processing. Choice and autonomy are the main focus of every session using Narrative Exposure Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I have experience working with clients at various levels of care with varying acuity of symptoms. I have helped clients manage difficult situations with their trauma histories, developing a therapeutic alliance where clients feel heard. Client report improved symptoms within the first few sessions.
I work best with individuals who are ready to explore their inner world and make meaningful changes in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next steps. They may be navigating life transitions, dealing with anxiety or burnout, healing from past wounds, or seeking deeper self-understanding. Individuals seeking help will find they harness inner strength, adversity, and growth that they may have not previously thought they had.
I use Acceptance and Commitment therapy to help variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress. I have been using ACT to help inform therapy for the past five years. ACT therapy involves skill building, behavioral interventions, and defining what is important and meaningful for us. I utilize ACT to assist clients through managing their stress, anxiety, and other symptoms that they are experiencing by building therapeutic alliance with the client. ACT utilizes metaphors, worksheets, and collaborative exercises to help improve symptoms.
I utilize Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) to assist clients with trauma histories whom struggle with processing past traumatic events. NET begins with developing safety. Safety involves developing grounding strategies, coping strategies, and education on trauma processing. Next, clients will explore their trauma timelines in a safe, trauma informed manner with the assistance of the therapist. Clients have autonomy throughout the entire narrative process of treatment. Clients find that NET helps them process trauma in a safe, manageable manner.
