About me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals navigating life changes, unresolved past experiences, or moments when things just feel “off.” My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what’s been holding you back and move toward healing and growth. I’m passionate about lifelong learning and continue to pursue advanced training beyond what’s required. I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of ages and diagnoses, which has deepened my understanding of how people experience and recover from challenges. Since graduating, I’ve completed training in EMDR, earned a school-based counseling certificate, and am currently finishing both my yoga teacher training and my certification in play therapy. This blend of clinical and holistic approaches allows me to integrate body-based techniques, creativity, and mindfulness into my work with clients of all ages.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy, whether it’s your first time or you’re meeting with a new therapist, can feel daunting and even nerve-wracking. I want our first session to be focused on getting to know one another and making sure you feel comfortable before diving into deeper work. I often describe therapy like a GPS, you’re the driver, and I’m here to help guide you. You already have the strengths and skills to get where you want to go, even if life has steered you off course. Together, we’ll create the “coordinates” that help you move toward the life and direction you want. My hope is to bring warmth, humor, and genuine acceptance to whatever you’re carrying. I’ve been in your shoes, searching for the right therapist comes with a mix of hope, fear, and uncertainty. So, whether you decide to work with me or someone else, I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take this step. You’re already moving toward growth, and that deserves to be recognized.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, tailored to your needs and goals. I draw from EMDR, Acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness practices. As I continue my training as a yoga instructor, I also integrate somatic and body-based healing practices into therapy for those who may benefit from a more holistic approach.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you’re exhausted from keeping it all together while everything feels like too much, you’re not the only one. Therapy with me is a space where you can be yourself, whether that’s messy, exhausted, hopeful, or even frustrated and still feel heard. I believe every person carries unique strengths and abilities that can guide them through life’s challenges. My goal is to create a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, while honoring that you are the expert in your own life.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) because it helps people build a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions instead of fighting them. Life is full of things we can’t always control, but we can choose how we respond. My goal is to help clients create a life that feels rich and fulfilling, not by eliminating discomfort, but by learning to move forward with it in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

EMDR

I use EMDR therapy because it helps people heal from past experiences that still impact their thoughts, emotions, and reactions today. It allows the brain to process those memories in a new way so you can feel calmer, more balanced, and less controlled by the past.

Adlerian

I use Adlerian Therapy because it focuses on understanding the person as a whole, not just their symptoms or struggles. It helps clients explore how early experiences, family dynamics, and beliefs about themselves shape the way they view the world today. I appreciate Adlerian Therapy because it encourages self-awareness, belonging, and purpose. It’s about helping clients see their strengths, find meaning in their challenges, and feel empowered to make choices that support growth and connection.
