New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and AASECT-certified sex therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples cultivate deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, and more fulfilling intimate lives. I specialize in working with concerns related to sexuality, intimacy, desire discrepancies, communication challenges, relational conflict, identity exploration, and life transitions. I believe therapy should be a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore sensitive or vulnerable topics without shame. My approach is sex-positive, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate practical tools with deeper insight-oriented work to help you better understand patterns, strengthen emotional connection, and build skills that support lasting change. Whether you are navigating sexual concerns, rebuilding trust, exploring aspects of your identity, or seeking more satisfaction in your relationships, I work collaboratively with you to clarify goals and create meaningful progress. My style is warm, direct, and supportive, balancing compassion with honest reflection. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge, confidence, and tools needed to foster authenticity, intimacy, and overall emotional well-being in your life and relationships.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we begin getting to know each other and clarify what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, your history, and what you’re hoping to change or strengthen in your life or relationships. We’ll explore what’s working, what feels challenging, and what support looks like for you. My role is to listen without judgment, offer thoughtful guidance, and help you feel grounded and understood. By the end of our session, we’ll identify initial goals and outline a collaborative plan for moving forward at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths include creating a deeply safe, shame-free space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood. I bring a grounded, compassionate presence, evidence-based sex therapy training, and a collaborative style that helps clients make meaningful, lasting change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals and couples seeking to deepen intimacy, heal sexual concerns, improve communication, and build healthier relationships. I’m especially well-suited for clients who value openness, curiosity, and collaborative growth. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy—only a willingness to engage in the process. Together, we will clarify your goals and move toward greater confidence, connection, and fulfillment in your life and relationships.
Attachment-based
In my clinical work, I use attachment-based approaches to help clients understand how early relational experiences shape their current patterns of connection, emotional regulation, and sense of self. My experience with this method includes assessing clients’ attachment histories, identifying maladaptive attachment patterns, and using the therapeutic relationship as a secure base for exploration and change.
Couples Counseling
In my work with couples, I draw on evidence-based couples counseling approaches to help partners improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and rebuild trust. My experience includes working with couples struggling with recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, infidelity, co-parenting challenges, and life-transition stressors.
Sex Therapy
As an AASECT-certified sex therapist, my work is grounded in a biopsychosocial understanding of sexual health and the belief that sexuality is an essential part of overall well-being. This treatment method integrates specialized training in sexual functioning, sexual development, and relational dynamics with a strong ethical framework and a client-centered therapeutic approach.
