New to Grow
My approach is strengths-based and individualized, empowering clients to build resilience, develop emotional regulation, and reconnect with their personal sense of identity and purpose. Through compassionate collaboration, I strive to equip my clients with practical tools, deeper self-awareness, and the confidence to move forward in their lives. Whether you’re starting your healing journey or continuing it, I’m here to walk alongside you and support your goals.
Our first therapy session will focus on building rapport and creating a safe, comfortable environment. We will talk through confidentiality and what to expect from therapy. I will gather background information about you, your concerns, and collaboratively set goals for treatment. It is also a time for you to ask any questions you ma have, share what brings you to therapy, and begin establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship.
I have always enjoyed working with people and helping them through some of their darkest times. I look for the light in people and help them to keep it glowing. We all struggle and we all need help sometimes. I strive to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where you are safe.
Are you struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, pain? Have you found yourself feeling tired, alone, or wondering, 'Does anyone understand what I am going through?' I can help. My goal is to provide you with a supportive, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can take root. I understand what it means to feel all of those things and my aim is to help you process those feelings and emotions. Everyone deserves a fair chance to grow into the person they want to be.
I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. In my practice, I use structured techniques such as cognitive restructuring and behavioral activation to promote lasting, positive change.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in managing intense emotions and improving interpersonal effectiveness. I incorporate DBT skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients achieve balance and stability.
I have experience using the Person-Centered Approach to foster a supportive and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel truly heard and understood. I emphasize empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness to help clients explore their experiences and promote personal growth.
