HI! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am based out of Pasadena, CA but see clients statewide via Tele-health. I work with couples, individuals, parents, adolescents, and children and specialize in anxiety, stress, life transitions, trauma, behavioral concerns, and ADHD, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Managing and Adaptive Practice, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help my clients I help my clients manage difficult emotions, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build more fulfilling lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be a chance for us to connect and for me to understand what's been going on for you. We'll spend most of the time talking about how you've been feeling, and I'll ask questions to help me get a better sense of what might be contributing to those feelings. This first session is really about building that initial connection and giving me some direction for how we can best work together moving forward. Everyone's different, so I find it's most helpful to listen first and understand your unique situation before we decide together what approach will work best for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach to therapy is highly individualized, responding to the unique needs of each client. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples, and families feel empowered to explore their challenges and work toward their goals. While my approach is fundamentally person-centered, emphasizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and collaboration, I integrate various theoretical frameworks to best serve my clients. I often utilize a whole-family systems perspective, recognizing the interconnectedness of family members and how their interactions can impact individual well-being. Goal setting is a strong component of my work, as it provides a clear direction for therapy and helps clients track their progress. This collaborative approach ensures that therapy is tailored to each client's specific needs, strengths, and desired outcomes.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am well-suited to serve individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan who are seeking support to navigate relationship challenges, anxiety, and life transitions. I particularly enjoy working with those who are motivated to improve their connections and well-being, and who value a collaborative therapeutic approach.
