Welcome! So many of us find ourselves overwhelmed by life stressors. We live in a fast paced world with what seems to be ever growing expectations. In the frenzy of career, family and social expectations you may have a growing sense of disconnection. This often shows up as sleep disturbances, tension and irritability. In order to find balance, I will help you heal through connection. Reconnecting to yourself through journaling, meditation, movement and self exploration, Reconnecting to ourselves is the first step in building stronger relationships with others. Yes, communication matters in relationships but we must learn to tune into ourselves before we can attune to our partners. If you are ready to rediscover what has been missing in your life, I am here to help. Let’s start this journey toward self discovery.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

An initial session is an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about therapy expectations and past experiences. We will talk about objectives and goals as well as concerns about the therapeutic process. Developing a plan of action is a major part of this collaboration. Clients can expect to come away from the first session with a clear understanding of the path we are embarking upon. This may include coping skills to address symptoms of anxiety, insomnia, depression and stress management.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths is collaborating with clients to achieve their goals. My style is flexible and individualized. I provide a warm and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Laughter and finding joy is also important. Progress comes by being open and learning not to take life and ourselves too seriously.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Perfectionism, anxiety and people pleasing are some of the most common issues that bring people into therapy. I work with individuals to identify these and other patterns that are effecting their lives. Developing an understanding of how patterns were once functional and in some cases life saving allows us to honor these defensives and then learn to let them go. My most fulfilling work is done in helping people access their authentic selves.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

My approach In session is to gain a deeper understanding of the individual within the context of their environment and their early childhood experiences. The role that relationships have played in our neurobiological development impacts the way that we view the world and the way we experience ourselves. Learning how to relate more effectively with our inner self allows a more cohesive, meaningful experience with our environment.
