I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over six years of clinical experience, holding certifications from both the ANCC and AANP. I use evidence-based approaches including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients set realistic goals, change unhelpful thought patterns, and build lasting motivation for positive change. Committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, empowering you to overcome challenges and improve overall well-being. With my combined expertise in mental health and family practice, I offer a holistic perspective that supports both psychological and physical health, guiding you toward greater resilience and quality of life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, goals, and background to better understand your needs. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you’re encouraged to speak freely. Together, we’ll begin building a plan that feels comfortable, focused, and tailored to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is its blend of empathy, structure, and practicality. I combine evidence-based methods like Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, to help clients make real, lasting progress. Sessions are collaborative and action-oriented, with a strong focus on your strengths, values, and goals. Clients often tell me they appreciate how supported and empowered they feel, and how they leave sessions with tools they can use right away in daily life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support individuals who are ready to make positive changes but may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start. I work well with clients facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, or low motivation, and those who value a collaborative, goal-oriented approach. Whether you're seeking clarity, emotional balance, or personal growth, I’m here to help you build practical strategies and renewed confidence to move forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I primarily use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients set realistic goals, change unhelpful thought patterns, and build lasting motivation for positive change. These evidence-based, practical approaches create a safe, nonjudgmental space where your strengths are highlighted and used as a foundation for growth. By focusing on what’s working through SFBT, reshaping negative thoughts with CBT, and enhancing your own motivation with MI, our sessions will be collaborative, action-oriented, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll develop effective strategies that empower you to overcome challenges and improve your well-being both during and beyond therapy.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their own reasons for change in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. Rather than directing or pressuring, I guide conversations that draw out your goals, values, and strengths, helping you build confidence and motivation to take meaningful steps forward.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my sessions, I often combine DBT techniques with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to create a balanced, personalized approach. I use DBT strategies to help clients recognize patterns of emotional reactivity, learn how to pause before acting on impulses, and communicate more effectively in their relationships. Whether working with clients managing trauma, anxiety, depression, or borderline traits, DBT has been a valuable framework for building stability and resilience, one step at a time

Child Parent Psychotherapy

At Royal Serenity Healthcare, we offer Child and Parent Psychotherapy to strengthen the parent-child relationship and support emotional healing for children experiencing behavioral issues, trauma, anxiety, or major life changes. This therapeutic approach involves both the child and caregiver in sessions to foster trust, improve communication, and build secure emotional connections. Through play-based techniques, emotion coaching, and caregiver support, we help families navigate challenges together. The goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and supported, and where parents are empowered with tools to respond with confidence and compassion. All sessions are provided virtually, making it easy for families to access care from home.
