I am a compassionate Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) with years of experience providing individual therapy to diverse populations. With a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges utilizing CBT and other practices to foster resilience and coping strategies. One of my proven ability is to improve client mental health outcomes through tailored (CBT) and trauma-informed care treatments focused on building secure therapeutic alliances.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first therapy session is primarily an intake and orientation, focusing on building rapport, reviewing confidentiality, and gathering information about your history, current symptoms, and goals. It is an interview-style session, not in-depth therapy, aimed at understanding your needs to create a treatment plan.

Some of my greatest strengths and values are center on fostering a secure, non-judgmental, and trusting therapeutic alliance. Including, deep empathy, active listening, authenticity, flexibility, and a commitment to ethical practice. In additions, to holding space for vulnerability, and maintaining high self-awareness.

My purpose is to help other and those that genuinely wish to address client's concerns through life transitions navigating career changes, divorce, marriage, or moving, including dealing with infidelity, poor communication, or attachment issues, working through past abuse or PTSD, identity issues: LGBTQI and/or navigating cultural/ethnic identity etc.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
By utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I will help you reframe cognitive distortions, with the hopes to help you decrease anxiety and depression symptoms.
Motivational Interviewing
By utilizing Motivational interviewing (MI) a collaborative, person-centered communication style. I will help you strengthen personal motivation and commitment to behavioral change. I will guide you to explore and resolve ambivalence/mixed feelings about changing by eliciting own reasons for change in an atmosphere of empathy, and acceptance.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
By utilizing culturally sensitive therapy (CST) I will help you improve mental health outcomes by tailoring your treatment to an specific cultural background, values, and experiences. The primary purposes will be to build trust, reduce misunderstandings, ensure accurate diagnosis, and foster a safe, inclusive environment that respects diverse beliefs, ultimately enhancing the therapeutic alliance in between clinician and client (you).
