In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session, I will get to know you and what you want to achieve while in counseling. You will also have the opportunity to ask me about my experiences and education to assure that we are the best fit. We will also work on identifying your challenges as well as your strengths.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have worked with adults and children aged 5+ in the outpatient and home based therapy setting. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. I will work with you to identify and obtain new skills to better cope with the stressors of life, while also providing a listening ear for you to process everything.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We will use approaches such as cognitive reframing, to help you better frame the negative self-talk. We will also work to develop positive coping skills to assist you in better managing your anxiety and depression symptoms.
Interpersonal
I use interpersonal therapy to better understand more about you and your background, as well as where your symptoms are rooted.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing to better understand the barriers to your goals as well as your strengths that will help you overcome those barriers.

I have been struggling with some really really tough issues lately especially with my wedding coming up in 9 days, I needed someone to talk to and LeAnn is the perfect fit, She was very supportive and gentle, Understanding and kind, She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or mis-understood, She is very easy to talk to & I am looking forward to our next session.
