I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing compassionate care in the mental health field. My work has allowed me to support individuals from diverse backgrounds facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, strengthen their resilience, and build healthier connections with themselves and others. I practice from an eclectic approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered, strengths-based, and supportive modalities because I believe one size does not fit all. I center you as the expert of your own experience while serving as your thought partner, guide, and sometimes your passenger-seat hype woman. Together, we explore patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and build practical tools that support meaningful growth. Therapy with me is collaborative, empowering, and tailored to who you are — not just your symptoms.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you not just your symptoms, but your story, your strengths, and what’s bringing you to therapy right now. We'll discuss some housekeeping details first, and then I'll give you some background on me and my experience. We’ll explore your goals, current stressors, and how grief, high expectations, or emotional overwhelm may be impacting your daily life. I’ll also explain how I work and answer any questions, so you feel informed and comfortable. You can expect a supportive, structured conversation where there is no pressure to have it all figured out... just space to begin

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is my innate ability to meet each client exactly where they are, creating a space where they feel safe to show up as their authentic selves. Clients often share that they feel deeply understood and comfortable, while also being gently challenged to shift patterns that no longer serve them. I help individuals process grief, regulate their nervous systems, set healthy boundaries, and rediscover their identity beyond productivity and accomplishments. My approach balances compassion with accountability, supporting meaningful and sustainable change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you are the strong one, the responsible one, the high achiever, the one everyone depends on but you’re quietly carrying grief, exhaustion, or emotional overwhelm, you don’t have to do it alone. You may be managing loss while still showing up to work, leading teams, caring for family, and keeping everything together on the outside. In our work together, you won’t be asked to be “strong,” you’ll be invited to be honest. We will create space for your grief, unpack the pressure to hold it all together, and help you build a version of success that includes rest, emotional safety, and support. You deserve care too.

My treatment methods

Grief Therapy

I specialize in helping clients navigate both sudden and complicated grief with compassion, structure, and emotional safety. We will gently explore your relationship to the loss, how it’s impacting your daily functioning, and identify healthy coping tools to manage overwhelming moments. Over time, therapy focuses on helping you integrate the loss into your life story while rebuilding meaning, connection, and stability at your own pace. My approach blends evidence-based modalities such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-informed care, Narrative therapy, and Mind-body regulation techniques.

Supportive

My approach is supportive, strengths-based, and tailored for high-functioning, high-achieving women who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed or emotionally depleted within. I help clients understand how hyper-independence, overachievement, and constant productivity may have once been protective strengths but are now contributing to imbalance and disconnection. Together, we work on boundaries, nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and redefining success to include rest and relational fulfillment. The goal is sustainable achievement that supports both ambition and emotional well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. CBT in my practice is collaborative and practical, giving clients tools they can use outside of sessions to create lasting change.
