I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping adults find relief from anxiety, depression, trauma, and burnout. I provide compassionate, trauma-informed psychiatric care that combines evidence-based treatment with genuine understanding. My approach blends medication management, therapy, and practical coping strategies tailored to each client’s needs. I offer flexible online psychiatry sessions and will soon provide in-person appointments, making mental health care more accessible and comfortable.
During your first session, I’ll focus on listening to your story and understanding your current challenges, history, and goals. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that may include therapy, medication management, and lifestyle recommendations. You’ll leave with a clear path forward, a sense of relief, and the reassurance that you have a partner in your mental health journey.
My strengths lie in creating a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Psychoeducation to address both symptoms and root causes. My approach is collaborative and empowering, helping clients build lasting skills to manage their mental health. I am committed to trauma-informed, patient-centered care that focuses on meaningful, long-term results.
I specialize in supporting adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, work-related stress, or life transitions. Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, or healthcare workers seeking a safe space to process challenges and rediscover balance. I also work with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and who are ready to improve their emotional well-being, build coping skills, and create positive change in their lives.
I use compassion-focused strategies to help clients reduce self-criticism, heal from trauma, and feel emotionally safe. This approach activates the brain’s soothing system, lowers stress, and fosters self-kindness, creating a strong foundation for healing.
I use CBT to help clients recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety and depression. This structured, evidence-based method provides practical tools for managing symptoms, improving mood, and building confidence.
I incorporate psychoeducation into sessions to help clients better understand their mental health conditions and treatment options. By learning about the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, clients are empowered to take an active role in their recovery.
Supportive therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients can express themselves freely and feel heard. Through active listening, empathy, and encouragement, I help individuals navigate life’s challenges while reinforcing their strengths. This approach is especially helpful during times of stress or transition, promoting resilience and emotional stability.
