There are times in your life when you may feel helpless, depressed, anxious, or even be experiencing conflict with the people you love. You may also see a family member, child, or friend struggling and wonder what you can do to help them work through their negative feelings. When we are in dark places, it can be difficult to understand that healing and hope are possible. As a counselor, I have worked with adults, couples, families, and children. I can help you or your loved ones go from a place of frustration and sadness to healing and growth. I use a combination of classical talk therapy, art therapy, mindfulness, meditation, sensory activities, and motivational interviewing to help reveal your strengths and uncover helpful and unhelpful patterns in your thinking. Together, we can identify themes or patterns in our conversations and use these to develop goals and strategies to heal and grow. I am committed to meeting my clients where they are and building a foundation of genuine trust and respect from the very first meeting. Your comfort is my priority. Wherever you are in your journey, I can help you to recognize your successes, identify areas for change, and create strategies that work for you, personally, to move forward.

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to decide whether this feels like a good fit. We’ll spend time talking about what’s bringing you to therapy now, any concerns or goals you have, and a bit about your background. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable—there’s no pressure to tell your whole story right away.
