About me

Hello and welcome. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 22 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s many challenges. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations across a wide range of settings, and I’ve learned that no two journeys are the same. I approach my work with deep compassion and a genuine commitment to meeting you where you are. Whether you're navigating stress, grief, trauma, relationship issues, or seeking personal growth, I’m here to walk alongside you. This is your path—but you don’t have to walk it alone. Together, we can create a safe, supportive space where healing and change are not only possible, but achievable.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is all about getting to know each other in a safe, welcoming space. We'll start by talking about what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and any goals or concerns you have. I’ll also ask some questions about your history, experiences, and what life looks like for you right now—always at a pace that feels comfortable. This initial session isn’t about fixing everything right away—it’s about beginning the process together, building trust, and creating a foundation for the work ahead. I’ll also answer any questions you may have about therapy, my approach, or what to expect moving forward. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, supported, and respected. This is your space, and I’m here to walk with you—wherever your journey leads.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my therapeutic approach apart is the balance I strive to maintain between compassion and practicality. I believe that healing happens in a space where you feel deeply understood—but also gently challenged to grow. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that every person already holds the capacity for change within themselves. Drawing from evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, I tailor each session to meet your individual needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—our work together will evolve based on your goals, your pace, and what feels most effective for you. Clients often share that they feel truly seen in our work, and that they leave sessions with not only greater insight, but also concrete tools they can use in everyday life. Whether you're looking to break old patterns, find emotional balance, or simply feel more like yourself again, I’m here to help you get there—step by step.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support individuals who are ready to explore meaningful change, even if they’re not quite sure where to start. Many of the clients I work with are navigating life transitions, managing anxiety or depression, healing from past trauma, or working through relationship and family challenges. Some feel stuck or overwhelmed, while others are simply seeking greater clarity, balance, and purpose in their lives. I especially connect with those who value a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship—people who may feel tired of carrying it all on their own, and are ready to take a step forward with someone walking beside them. Whether you're coming to therapy for the first time or returning after a break, my goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered.
