I am a licensed psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, reclaim their power, and live with greater clarity and purpose. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, using an integrative and collaborative approach. My work is rooted in exploring identity, social location, and the deeper emotional patterns that shape our lives, with the goal of fostering healing, resilience, and authentic connection.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where we begin to explore what brings them to therapy. I’ll invite you to share your story at your own pace—focusing on the challenges you're facing, what you hope to gain from therapy, and any personal or cultural context that feels important. We’ll begin identifying core themes, patterns, and strengths, and I’ll offer reflections to help clarify your goals. Together, we’ll co-create a path forward that feels aligned with your healing, growth, and deeper truth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my ability to cultivate a deeply safe, soulful, and culturally attuned space for healing. I bring a rare integration of lived experience, clinical training, and spiritual insight, which allows me to meet clients with both compassion and depth. I am especially skilled at helping individuals uncover the hidden narratives and unprocessed wounds that shape their lives, and I guide them toward transformation through truth-telling, emotional integration, and the reclamation of personal power. My work is anchored in authenticity, presence, and a profound respect for the complexity of the human journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve clients who are navigating major life transitions, identity questions, and the lingering impact of trauma—particularly men who have lived at the margins and are seeking healing, wholeness, and authenticity. I work well with those who are confronting grief, anxiety, shame, spiritual crisis, or relational wounds, and who are ready to explore the deeper layers of their story. My ideal clients are open to integrating depth psychology, spirituality, and social context into the therapeutic process as they reconnect with their power, purpose, and voice. MEN ONLY!!!

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR helps men heal by going where talk alone cannot: the body, the memory, the unfinished moment. Many men carry trauma that was never named—betrayal, violence, sexual shame, neglect—stored not as stories, but as tension, rage, numbness, or shutdown.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-Centered Therapy supports men by offering a steady, nonjudgmental relationship where they can be fully seen without pressure to perform or be fixed. Through empathy, presence, and unconditional positive regard, men gradually lower their defenses, reconnect with their emotions, and rebuild self-trust. As safety replaces judgment, clarity and responsibility naturally emerge, allowing the man to stand in his own truth with greater steadiness, authenticity, and agency.

Multicultural

Multicultural Therapy helps men heal by naming the cultural, racial, and historical forces that shaped them long before they had a choice. It recognizes that many men carry inherited burdens—silence, hyper-vigilance, respectability, survival codes—that were once protective but now limit intimacy and self-expression. By honoring identity, ancestry, and lived experience, this approach restores dignity, challenges internalized oppression, and helps men separate who they truly are from who they were taught to be. The work is honest and grounding: a man learns to stand in his own skin, claim his voice, and move forward without abandoning his roots.
