New to Grow
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that you don’t have to do it alone. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with kids, teens, adults, and families, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are—whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, College, relationship challenges, or just feeling stuck. I use a mix of approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and strength-based techniques, but more than anything, I focus on listening to you and tailoring sessions to what you need. I truly believe therapy is about collaboration—you bring your experiences and hopes, and I bring tools and support to help you move forward. My hope is that you’ll leave sessions feeling lighter, more confident, and more connected to yourself. I know it can be hard to open up about yourself so here's some personal things about me: I'm a runner, I enjoy photography, I love the NBA, I'm into anime, and Severance needs to come back already
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard and understood. My goal is for you to leave sessions with a greater sense of clarity, new tools to manage stress or difficult emotions, and practical strategies you can use in your daily life. Over time, clients often notice feeling more confident in themselves, better able to navigate challenges, and more connected to the goals and values that matter most to them.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I place great value on building a genuine, trusting relationship with each client. I believe real change happens when people feel truly seen, understood, and supported—and I strive to create that connection in every session.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who shows up. Asking for help is a huge task in itself. If you logged on to this site, looking to find someone to talk to, you're already my ideal client.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients notice unhelpful thoughts and patterns that may be getting in the way. Together, we find more balanced ways of thinking and coping that support positive change.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
At the core of my work is a person-centered approach. I believe each client is the expert on their own life, and I aim to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental so growth can naturally unfold.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
From DBT, I draw tools for managing strong emotions, improving communication, and staying grounded in the moment. These skills can help bring more balance and calm into daily life.
