I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals within the last 10 years — from children to adults — across diverse social settings, which has given me a deep appreciation for how unique each person’s journey is. Along the way, I discovered that I truly love working with clients who are motivated to grow and improve their lives. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, social challenges, or major life transitions, I enjoy helping you make sense of what’s happening and finding practical ways to move forward. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented, with a focus on helping you build resilience, clarity, and confidence as you create meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is designed to be a thoughtful, collaborative conversation where you feel heard and understood. We will spend time exploring what brings you to therapy, identifying current symptoms or challenges, and clarifying the goals you would like to work toward. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and support systems, while ensuring the pace feels comfortable for you. By the end of our first meeting, we will begin outlining a clear plan for therapy, including what you can expect moving forward and how we will work together to help you make meaningful progress.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my empathetic and attuned approach. I strive to truly understand your experience and create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. While therapy can involve serious and meaningful work, I also believe in the power of lightheartedness and appropriate humor to make the process feel more comfortable and human. Clients can expect a warm, welcoming environment where we focus on your goals, move at a pace that feels right for you, and work collaboratively to create meaningful, lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with clients who are motivated for change and ready to invest in building a healthier, more fulfilling life. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply know you want something better for yourself, I value working with individuals who are open to growth and willing to engage in the therapeutic process. My ideal clients may not have everything figured out, but they have a desire to move forward, gain insight, and take meaningful steps toward their goals. Together, we focus on creating clarity, developing practical strategies, and building momentum toward lasting, positive change.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps people handle difficult thoughts and emotions without being controlled by them. Instead of trying to eliminate anxiety, sadness, or stress, ACT focuses on building acceptance of internal experiences while committing to actions that align with your personal values. It teaches skills such as mindfulness, present-moment awareness, and cognitive defusion (learning to step back from unhelpful thoughts). The goal is to increase psychological flexibility — the ability to stay grounded, open, and purposeful even when life feels hard — so you can move toward a meaningful, fulfilling life rather than avoiding discomfort.

Supportive

I use supportive counseling to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and validated. My approach focuses on building trust, offering encouragement, and helping clients process challenges while strengthening their confidence and coping skills. Through empathy and collaboration, I support clients in navigating stress, life transitions, and emotional difficulties while reinforcing their existing strengths.
