Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

As a client in our first session, you can expect to begin building rapport and trust while exploring whether I’m the right fit for your specific treatment needs. This initial conversation is a safe, judgment-free space where we’ll start to get to know one another and identify what support looks like for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes me unique in my treatment approach is my ability to genuinely connect with adolescents and young adults by meeting them where they are and creating a space where they feel heard without judgment. Over the past five years, I’ve used a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based strategies, and real-life application to help clients reframe negative thoughts, build emotional awareness, and take steps toward long-term change. My clients often walk away with practical coping skills, increased self-confidence, and the ability to better manage their emotions in everyday situations.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are young adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the future but are open to growth and ready to do the work. I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking to improve their emotional well-being, build healthy relationships, and gain the tools to live with greater purpose and clarity.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

For the past five years, I have utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support adolescents and emerging adults in managing depression and addressing trauma. Through a structured, evidence-based approach, I have helped clients recognize how their thoughts directly influence their emotional states and behaviors. By identifying and challenging distorted or unhelpful thinking patterns, clients begin to develop more adaptive perspectives, which in turn improves their mood and reduces impulsive or avoidant behaviors. This approach has been particularly effective in helping youth understand the connection between past traumatic experiences and current cognitive distortions, allowing them to develop healthier coping mechanisms and regain a sense of control in their daily lives.
