Hi, I'm Dacole, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Lotus & Sunflower Wellness Center. I work with teens, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are navigating a variety of challenges. My specialties include Grief and loss, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Self Esteem/Self Worth, Relationship Conflict, Boundaries, and more. I have years of experience working with a variety of populations utilizing a variety of treatment modalities.

In the first session you can expect a safe, open, and supportive space where I show up as my authentic self, I hope you feel free to do the same. We will explore what brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and explore the next steps to support you on your journey.

My approach is warm, authentic, and individualized. I believe successful therapy requires a good therapeutic relationship. I aim to provide a warm, empathetic, supportive environment that allows you to show up authentically so we can work together to accomplish your goals. In addition to my authenticity, My approach blends a warm, strengths-based style with CBT, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. I help you reconnect with yourself, release what’s heavy, and move toward healing at a pace that feels aligned and grounded.

I have experience working with individuals and families navigating life transitions. My ideal clients would be individuals who are tired of being strong for everyone else, struggling through life carrying the grief, trauma, anxiety, or self-doubt. Individuals looking for safety, support, and someone who sees more than their symptoms. Individuals who want to feel understood, empowered, and grounded again. I've supported individuals through grief/loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, and much more.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We work together to gently challenge these patterns and replace them with more balanced perspectives.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I utilize DBT to help clients manage intense emotions, reduce criticism, and build skills for navigating life's challenges. I focus on distress tolerance, Mindfulness, interpersonal relationships, and emotional regulation
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
My approach with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy centers on building clients existing resources and skills. Together we identify what's working, set achievable goals, and develop strategies to move forward, creating measurable progress in a collaborative and empowering way.
