I am a bilingual Doctor of Nursing Practice with double certification in Adult Acute Care and Psychiatric-Mental Health and over 10 years of professional experience. I am also a University Professor for upcoming nurse practitioners, a Mental Health Counselor, and a Holistic Wellness Practitioner. With a compassionate and realistic approach, I provide therapeutic and psychiatry services, treating children and adults.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The possible time expectancies are 55 minutes for an initial appointment and 25 for medication follow-ups. I have an open policy regarding emails with a turnaround answer of less than 10 hours.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a compassionate and realistic mental health provider who approaches psychiatry services and treats patients, both children and adults, as a vocation, never as a business.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

"When you work with me, you are part of a team. I will celebrate your victories and support you through your setbacks. While I can prescribe medications like other providers, my holistic approach involves thoroughly investigating and gaining a clear understanding of diagnoses, medications, and treatments."

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common type of talk therapy (psychotherapy). CBT helps individuals become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking, allowing them to view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way. CBT can be a very helpful tool, either on its own or combined with other therapies, in treating mental health disorders such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or an eating disorder.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a mental health treatment technique that involves a specific eye movement pattern to process traumatic memories. The goal of EMDR is to help individuals heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences.
