Beginning therapy is a deeply personal decision and often comes with a mix of curiosity, hope, and understandable hesitation. I am a trauma-informed clinician who helps individuals navigate the complex interplay between relationship dynamics, generational patterns, and emotional wounds that shape ones lived experience. With a compassionate, integrative approach, I support clients in transforming cycles of pain, disconnection, and self-blame into opportunities for growth, understanding, and secure connection. I help individuals heal the emotional and historical roots of conflict—stemming from attachment wounds, intergenerational patterns, complex trauma, or substance use. I recognize that present struggles often reflect unresolved pain, unmet needs, and inherited survival patterns shaping one’s experience.
In the first session, we will review informed consent, discuss the therapy process, and explore your reasons for seeking support. We'll cover your background, medical history, and any relevant clinical details to better understand your experience. I’ll explain what to expect in therapy and invite your questions. The session will move at your pace, with the goal of creating a safe, validating space where you feel supported and empowered as we begin your journey.
I believe in the use of a holistic, client-centered approach to mental health care, working collaboratively with each individual to ensure they receive personalized support and treatment. Focusing on natural, open conversation while integrating clinical approaches to better understand the challenges that brought you to therapy. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns and working together toward better mental health and well-being. Your unique needs and experiences will guide our work, and I am committed to providing the support necessary for you to thrive.
I focus on fostering emotional safety and honoring client autonomy while supporting the development of self-awareness and emotional regulation. My approach blends evidence-based practices with a deep respect for each person’s unique journey, creating a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic experience. Drawing on expertise in substance use, relationship dynamics, life transitions, and the effects of historical trauma, I help clients explore how these experiences influence their daily lives and relationships. Through empowerment and skill-building, I guide clients in overcoming challenges, cultivating resilience, and moving toward more fulfilling, balanced lives.
As a trauma-informed clinician, I take a client-centered and compassionate approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that healing happens in safe, empowering, and collaborative spaces. I recognize that many emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges are rooted in lived experiences that may include trauma, chronic stress, or attachment disruptions. My role is to walk alongside clients as they build insight, resilience, and a renewed sense of self-trust.

This was my first session with Ms.Fields and it didn’t even feel like it. The environment was very warm and welcoming. I usually have a hard time expressing myself to others and they understand. But it’s like she knew exactly what I was trying to say. She validated my feelings and explained why I feel the way I feel. I’m looking foward to working with her. I feel like some pressure was taken off of me after talking today.
